When I started teaching yoga, I thought I knew all there was to know about helping people to get the body they wanted, improve their health and find their peace of mind.

However, after observing that some of my clients became frustrated because they continued feeling fatigued all the time, either suffering from adrenal fatigue, or from leaky gut and that some were eventually diagnosed with some other kinds of disease, even cancer, I kept on doing researches to find out why diet and exercise just weren’t enough sometimes.

The body is a complex system and I had been ignoring some really important pieces of the puzzle, one of which was cleansing the body of built up toxins that contribute to a sluggish liver!

 

In a recent study by the Environmental Working Group (EWG), up to 420 toxins have been found in the human body across different populations.

 

The liver plays a huge role in eliminating these toxins, but when it’s overloaded, it can’t convert hormones or regulate our metabolism like it’s supposed to in order for us to lose weight and have energy.

 

Thus, one of my objectives now is to stop those client’s frustrations by helping them recognize toxin exposure and support the body’s natural detoxing abilities so as they will be able to take back control of their health, energy and body.
